FAQ | Smith Coffee Subscription
To access your subscription, you must log in to your account on our website via the "My Account" button.
Click on "Manage my subscription" in your account details. If you have multiple Smith coffee subscriptions, they will all be displayed on this page. You can then click the "click here to view your subscription" button on the right of the desired coffee subscription . This is where you will find all the information related to your subscription and you can modify it at any time.
You can absolutely order other items on our website and receive your order at the same time as your subscription shipment, taking advantage of free delivery (subject to the availability of the added products)!
If the item is not included in a coffee subscription (e.g., cotton balls, accessories, etc.), you will receive an email from us three days before your subscription order is shipped. Upon receiving this email, you have 24 hours to place a new order on our website and receive it along with your subscription. To do so, you can call us at 418-529-0096, contact us via the "support" chat bubble in the bottom right corner, or email us at maude@smithcafe.com !
If you'd like to add a bag of coffee to your next subscription shipment , click "edit" in the ITEMS section, then click "add item." Search for your desired coffee in the list; you can use the "find products" search bar. Each item has a title indicating, in this order, the following information: coffee name/grind/size . Once you've found the right coffee, click the "add to my next order only" button. The new product will be marked "one-time purchase" in yellow. Click "save" to confirm your selection.
Absolutely! The date of your next subscription shipment is displayed on your main subscription page in the "Upcoming Orders" section. If this date doesn't work for you, you can change it by clicking "Reschedule" above the relevant order date. Then, select the new date, which will correspond to the date your subscription order is processed by our team, and save.
Please note: when rescheduling your order for a new date, remember to include the number of days for delivery and 24 hours for processing by our team before the actual day you will receive your order.
After a few orders, you might realize that the shipping dates are too close or too far apart. No worries, you can adjust the shipping frequency of your subscription.
This information is displayed on your subscription's main page. To change it, click "edit". In the first section, SUBSCRIPTION . Then select the new frequency that will correspond to the time between each delivery of your subscription and save.
Are you going on holiday or a trip? You can pause your subscription while you're away! All orders will be suspended until you return.
To pause your subscription, click the orange "Pause my subscription" button located on your subscription's main page. Confirm by clicking the "Pause my subscription" button again in the small window that appears! Your subscription status has changed!
Remember to reactivate your subscription upon your return by clicking on the green " reactivate my subscription " button!
Note: you cannot cancel a paused subscription.
Our subscriptions allow you to save money! These discounts are applied directly and automatically to the amount of your subscription.
The discounts applied vary depending on the type of subscription chosen:
- Coffee subscription (regular) :
* 340g bag : you benefit from a 20% discount on your first order, then 15% on all subsequent orders, in your subscription for a 340g bag.
* 1kg bag : you benefit from a 15% discount on your first order, then 10% on all subsequent orders, in your subscription for a 1kg bag.
* 2.5kg bag : you benefit from a 10% discount on your first order, then 5% on all subsequent orders, in your subscription for a 2.5kg bag.
Your contact information is displayed on your subscription's main page in the "Contact" and "Delivery" sections. To edit this information, click "Edit". Next to the section you wish to update, click and confirm the new information to save it. This new information will be taken into account for your next subscription shipment within a minimum of 24 hours.
Your payment information is displayed on your subscription's main page in the "Payment Method" section. To change this information, click "Edit." You will receive an email at the email address associated with your subscription. When you open this email, click the " Update my payment information " button. You will be redirected to an official Smith Café page. Click " Edit " and enter your new payment details. This is also where you can update your billing information if needed. Click the "Update Card" button to confirm your changes.
To modify the content of your subscription, click on "edit" in the ARTICLES section of your subscription.
CHANGE THE QUANTITY
Change the quantity as needed and save.
CHANGE THE COFFEE, GRIND OR FORMAT
Click on "add an item". Find the coffee of your choice in the list; you can use the "find products" search bar. Each item has a title indicating, in this order, the following information: coffee name/grind/size . Once you have found the right coffee, click on the "add to my subscription" button. After adding the new coffee, you can choose whether or not to remove the original coffee from your subscription. If you wish to remove it, click on the red "remove" label located to the right of the coffee in question, then click on the "save" button to confirm your choice.
The new product selected and/or the new quantity entered will be taken into account in the next shipment of your subscription order within a minimum of 24 hours.
Note: if the product you wish to add does not appear in the list, it means that it is a limited-time coffee and is therefore not available by subscription as it may stop at any time depending on the quantities available.
This new information will be taken into consideration when your subscription is next sent, with a minimum delay of 24 hours.
Details of the shipment of each future order for your subscription are displayed on the main page of your subscription in the section "Your upcoming orders" .
If you think you'll have enough coffee and can skip the next automatic coffee delivery, you can click "skip order" next to the desired order date. That's all!
If you change your mind, click on "do not skip the order" located in the same place.
You will not receive the order you chose to "skip" and therefore you will not be charged.
To place your order today, click the "order today" button.
A new small window opens to offer you 2 choices:
1/ You launch your subscription order today without impacting other future orders of your subscription, then click on the top button.
2/ You are launching your subscription order today and you want this order to be the new starting point for future orders based on your frequency, then click on the bottom button.
To permanently cancel your subscription, please contact us by email at: maude@smithcafe.com
Please note that this action is final and irreversible. If you change your mind, you will need to start a new subscription.
Before cancelling, please contact us; we may be able to help and adjust your subscription to better suit your needs :)
